Ambitious accountancy practice makes an inspired double appointment

Lichfield and Leicester accountancy practice, Inspired Accountants, continues to strengthen its team with the appointment of two employees, just weeks after the announcement of a new company director.

Christine Green joins Inspired as a bookkeeper and Christine Hawkswood is joining as an accounts technician.

Christine Green, who has 27 years’ of bookkeeping experience, will be client facing and be responsible for preparing VAT returns, management accounts and year-end accounts.

Christine Hawkswood who previously worked for an accountancy practice in Tamworth is joining Inspired as an accounts technician responsible for accounts preparation, bookkeeping company secretarial duties and advising on company tax, personal tax and VAT.

2012 is proving to be a very successful year for Inspired. In January it opened a second office in Leicester and in June it announced the directorship of their specialist tax consultant.

Commenting on her appointment Christine Green said: “Right from the initial recruitment process I was impressed with the senior management’s outlook and approach.  The position appealed as it offered a varied and interesting role with a strong emphasis on client contact.”  Christine Hawkswood added:  “The opportunity to work with experienced professionals within an ambitious firm that has a modern outlook really appealed to me. I’m looking forward to developing my skills, taking on more responsibility and progressing my career with the firm.”

Christine Green lives in Coton in the Elms, near Swadlincote and most of her spare time is taken up with Gresley Junior Football Club which her son plays for and which Christine is Treasurer and Secretary.

Christine Hawkswood lives in Clayhanger, Brownhills and is a dedicated jewellery maker in her spare time.
